Mrs. Roseline Sougie whose throat was reportedly slit by her jobless husband of 26 years, 49-year-old Jafaru Sougie at their home in Araromi Street in Oshodi area of Lagos State because of alleged infidelity on Friday May 27th, was buried yesterday June 6th.
Jafaru reportedly slit his wife’s throat with a knife around 2am but she was discovered dead at 4am by one of their children named Richmond and his aunt who raised the alarm. After years of domestic violence, the journey has ended violently for the hapless woman.
After committing the dastardly act, Jafaru is feigning ignorance of his actions and blaming alleged creditors who were supposedly after his late wife's life. He is cooling his heels with the police.
